Some moisturizers become favourites for a reason, and the Centellian24 Madeca Cream Time Reverse is definitely one of mine. I had the opportunity to try this cream through a Picky campaign, where it was gifted to me in exchange for my honest review, and it quickly became one of the products I appreciated most for keeping my skin hydrated and comfortable.

The first thing I noticed was the texture. It's rich and creamy without feeling too heavy or greasy, which I really appreciate. It spreads easily over my skin and absorbs surprisingly quickly, leaving it feeling soft, smooth and hydrated.

One of the biggest benefits for me has been how well it maintains hydration throughout the day. I have dry, resilient skin, and I often struggle with dry patches, especially during the colder months. Since using this cream, I've noticed how much it helps my skin feel moisturized and comfortable, even when the weather makes it feel particularly dry or dehydrated. 🌿

I also love its soothing effect. When my skin feels irritated or needs a little extra care, this cream feels nourishing and comforting. I think this makes it a lovely option for anyone who wants to focus on both hydration and skin comfort.

As for the anti-aging benefits, I can't say I've noticed dramatic changes in terms of tightening or other visible signs of aging. However, I have noticed that my skin looks plumper, smoother and more radiant, and I genuinely appreciate how hydrated it feels.

And honestly, my opinion of this cream hasn't changed since I first reviewed it. I still love it, and I especially reach for it during winter, when my skin needs that extra boost of moisture. It's one of the creams that has helped my dry skin the most, and I can definitely see myself continuing to use it.

When I first started using the Centellian24 Collagen Tightening Boosting Ampoule, I was really impressed by how hydrated and firm my skin felt. I received it as a gifted product through Picky, and it quickly caught my attention because of its lightweight texture and refreshing feel.

The serum absorbs really quickly into my skin without leaving a heavy or greasy feeling. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, smooth and comfortable throughout the day, which is something I always appreciate, especially because I have dry skin.

I also liked how gentle it felt on my skin. It helped keep my skin feeling nourished without causing irritation, and I think it could be a nice option for people with sensitive skin, especially when their skin feels a little irritated and needs some extra care. 🩷

One thing I particularly liked was the tightening effect. I don't use this ampoule every day anymore, but I still reach for it occasionally when I feel like my skin needs a little extra firmness and hydration.

However, when it comes to collagen itself, I can't say that I've noticed any major changes. Although I enjoy the hydration and the overall feel of my skin after using it, I haven't seen dramatic results that I could specifically attribute to collagen.

One little downside ☹

My main limitation is that I haven't noticed significant visible changes related to collagen or skin firmness. I still think it's a good hydrating serum, but I wouldn't rely on it if you're expecting dramatic tightening or collagen-related results.

I've been using the Mary&May Vegan Cica Soothing Sun Cream SPF50+ PA++++ daily, and honestly, I'm still impressed by how well it works for my skin. Picky gave me the opportunity to try this product as a gifted item, and it quickly became one of my favourite sunscreens. 🤍

First of all, there's absolutely no white cast. It blends beautifully into my skin without leaving any visible residue, which is something I really appreciate in a sunscreen with SPF50+ PA++++.

The formula feels incredibly lightweight, and I love how hydrated and fresh my skin feels after applying it. It's infused with Centella Asiatica and hyaluronic acid, which help soothe and moisturize the skin while providing sun protection.

Since I have dry skin, finding a sunscreen that provides enough hydration is really important to me. This one leaves my skin feeling comfortable and moisturized throughout the day without feeling heavy or greasy.

One of my favourite things about this sunscreen is how well it works under makeup. It gives my skin a smooth, hydrated base, and my foundation applies beautifully on top. I've never had issues with my makeup cracking or becoming patchy because of this sunscreen, which makes a huge difference to my overall makeup look. ✨

I also love that it's vegan, which is another nice detail about the formula. After using it so much, my impressions have only gotten better. I still find myself reaching for it regularly, and I'm honestly still in love with this product.

Honestly, I haven't found anything negative to say about this sunscreen. I've used it extensively, and it continues to work beautifully for my dry skin and my makeup routine.

I received the Mary&May Tranexamic Acid + Glutathione Eye Cream through a Picky campaign, and I was excited to try it because I was looking for something that could hydrate my under-eye area and help brighten it. One thing I liked about this cream is that, although it is marketed as an eye cream, I could also use it around my mouth and on other areas of my face.

The texture is light and smooth, spreads easily and absorbs well without feeling heavy or greasy. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, fresh and comfortable, especially around my eyes. I also liked the cool, refreshing sensation it gave my skin, and it worked well both in my morning and evening routines.

The formula contains tranexamic acid (0.1%), glutathione (0.1%) and niacinamide (approximately 2–2.4%), ingredients associated with brightening the skin. However, after finishing the entire tube, I noticed that the hydration was much more noticeable than any brightening effect.

One little downside ☹

My main disappointment was that, despite the brightening ingredients in the formula — tranexamic acid (0.1%), glutathione (0.1%) and niacinamide (approximately 2–2.4%) — I didn't notice much improvement in dark circles or uneven pigmentation after using the product.

While I really liked how hydrating it was, I had hoped to see more visible brightening results. I wonder whether the concentrations of the brightening ingredients were simply not enough for my skin and whether I might need a product with higher concentrations to notice a more significant difference. Of course, this is just my personal experience, and I can't say for sure that the percentages were the reason it didn't work as well as I had hoped.

That's why, after finishing the entire tube, I decided to lower my original rating.

Overall, I think this is a nice option if you're looking for a lightweight, hydrating eye cream, especially if you have dry under-eyes. I genuinely enjoyed the texture and how moisturized my skin felt throughout the day.

However, if your main goal is to improve dark circles or achieve a visible brightening effect, my personal experience was less impressive. Even though the formula contains several ingredients intended to help with uneven skin tone, I didn't notice much of a difference myself.

After finishing the entire tube, I'd give it 3/5 stars. It's a good hydrating cream, but the brightening results weren't noticeable enough for me.

The SKIN1004 Probio-Cica Eye Cream has been a really nice addition to my routine, especially because my under-eye area tends to need a lot of hydration. I received this product as a gifted item through Picky, and the main thing I loved about it was how comfortable and moisturized it left my under-eyes.

The texture is lightweight but nourishing, and it melts into the skin really easily. Even though it feels nourishing, it doesn't feel heavy or greasy, which I really appreciate for an eye cream.

I usually apply it at night, and when I wake up in the morning, my under-eye area feels soft, comfortable and well moisturized. It doesn't feel dry at all, so I think it's especially nice for people who struggle with very dry under-eyes. 💧

I also really liked using it before makeup. It gives the area enough hydration without making it greasy or causing my concealer to crease or pill. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and prepared for makeup.

Overall, I found it to be a gentle and soothing eye cream that focuses mainly on hydration and comfort. 🤎

One little downside ☹

The only thing that disappointed me a little is that, so far, I haven't noticed any improvement in wrinkles or fine lines.

While it's great for keeping my under-eye area hydrated and comfortable, I wouldn't specifically recommend it if your main goal is visible anti-aging results or reducing wrinkles in a short amount of time.

For hydration, though, I really enjoy it.

The Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Soothing Color Correcting Treatment quickly became one of those products I reached for on days when I wanted my skin to look fresh and even without actually wearing makeup. I got to try it through Picky, and I really enjoyed how it combined skincare and color correction in one product.

The first thing that makes this treatment so interesting is its green-to-beige formula. The green color helps neutralize redness, but as you blend it into the skin, it adapts to your skin tone and leaves everything looking much more even and natural.

I also really liked that it doesn't just focus on color correction. It contains skin-soothing ingredients and SPF, so it feels like I'm protecting and caring for my skin at the same time.

Once blended in, it gives my skin that “my skin but better” effect. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing a full face of makeup, but it helps my complexion look more even, fresh and put together.

For me, it's especially nice for lazy skin days, summer days, or whenever I just don't feel like wearing makeup. Having skincare and color correction in one step makes it super easy to keep things simple while still looking fresh. 🫧

One little downside ☹

If you have very dry skin, it can cling a little to dry patches. I would definitely recommend moisturizing well beforehand if your skin is particularly dry, so the product can blend more smoothly and evenly.

I really enjoyed trying the S.NATURE Aqua Squalane Moisturizing Cream. Picky gave me the opportunity to try this product as a gifted item, and it quickly became one of those products I reached for whenever my skin needed some extra hydration.

The texture feels rich and nourishing, but it still spreads really easily over the skin. The squalane gives my skin that deep, comfortable hydration without making it feel tight or dry. After applying it, my skin feels soft, smooth, plump and naturally glowy. ✨

One thing I really like is that you can layer it depending on how much hydration your skin needs. I can use a lighter amount during the day or apply a little more when my skin feels especially dry.

It also gives my skin that healthy, moisturized look without needing a complicated routine. 

What I love about it:

• Deeply hydrating
• Soft, smooth and plump skin
• Gives a healthy glow
• Great for dry/resilient skin
• Easy to layer when my skin needs extra moisture

🩶One little downside

The only downside for me is that it can feel quite rich and a little greasy during the summer, especially when it’s hot outside. Because of that, I wouldn’t really recommend it for oily or combination skin, as it might feel too heavy or leave more shine than you’d want.

For my dry skin, though, especially when I want that extra boost of hydration, I really enjoy it. 🩶

I really enjoyed trying the Lab.it Pore Rice Cleanser. Picky gave me the opportunity to try this product as a gifted item, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable cleanser to use.

The first thing that caught my attention was the texture. It’s creamy and slightly thick, but once you start working it into the skin, it creates a nice lather. It also has a really sweet scent that reminded me of mochi, which I honestly loved. 🤍

I also thought the little spoon that comes with the cleanser was such a cute and practical detail. It makes it easier to scoop out the product and helps keep the application more hygienic.

The cleanser contains tannin, rice, and peptides, ingredients that help with cleansing, brightening and improving the appearance of skin texture. When I used it, my skin felt really clean, refreshed and noticeably smoother after rinsing.

I don't usually struggle with very visible pores, but I could definitely feel a difference in the texture of my skin after using it. My skin felt incredibly soft and smooth — almost like baby skin.

What I particularly liked was that it gave me that deep-clean feeling without leaving my skin feeling stripped or overly dry. It felt like a thorough cleanse while still being comfortable on my skin.

One little downside ☹

The only thing I struggled with was figuring out the right amount of product to use. Since the texture is quite creamy and a little thick, it took me a few tries to figure out the perfect amount that would lather well without using too much.

I think having a little more guidance about the recommended amount would have been helpful.

Some skincare products come and go, but this one actually stayed in my routine. I received the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Probiotics Barrier Essence as a gifted product through Picky, and I was honestly impressed by how deeply it hydrated my skin.

The texture is lightweight and almost gel-like, and it absorbs quickly without leaving my skin feeling sticky or greasy. Right after applying it, my skin feels softer, calmer and more hydrated.

The formula contains fermented black rice, probiotics and hyaluronic acid, which makes it a really nice option when my skin needs extra hydration and barrier support. When I use it at night, I wake up with my skin feeling fresh, smooth and hydrated, almost like I had given my skin a little overnight treatment. 🫧

But one of my favourite ways to use it is actually before makeup. It leaves my skin feeling balanced, plump and smooth, which gives my foundation a much nicer base to work with.

And unlike some very rich hydrating products, this one doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. It gives me that healthy, hydrated glow without feeling heavy.

I originally reviewed this product in 2025, but I still use it daily to this day. That's probably the biggest compliment I can give it. 💜

It has become one of my favourite products for prepping my skin before makeup, especially when I want my skin to look hydrated, smooth and naturally glowy.

The Klairs Maple Energy Infusing Serum quickly became one of those products I kept reaching for, both during my nighttime routine and before makeup. I was able to try it through a Picky campaign, where the product was gifted to me in exchange for my honest review.

The texture felt lightweight and absorbed quickly, leaving my skin feeling fresh and hydrated without feeling greasy. I did notice that it had a slightly sticky texture, but personally, I didn't mind it because of how my skin looked and felt afterwards.

One of my favourite things about this serum was the instant boost of radiance it gave my skin. At night, I loved using it because I would wake up with my skin feeling soft, hydrated and refreshed.

It also worked really well for me as a pre-makeup step. I noticed that my foundation went on more smoothly afterwards, and my skin looked naturally more radiant throughout the day. It gave my makeup a nice, hydrated base without making my skin feel dry.

The maple extract also made the serum feel quite unique to me, and I found it nourishing and gentle enough for my skin.

I would especially recommend it if you're dealing with dry, dull or dehydrated skin and you're looking for a hydrating serum that can work both day and night. 🍁

A couple of years ago, Picky gave me the opportunity to try the I’M FROM Rice Toner Pad as a gifted product, and at the time, it quickly became one of my favourite products for gentle exfoliation and hydration.

The I’M FROM Rice Toner Pad is a toner pad and gentle exfoliant infused with rice extract. Each pad was soaked in the essence, and after using it, my skin felt smooth, soft, bright and refreshed.

What I particularly liked about these toner pads was how gentle they felt on my skin. My skin was dry and resilient, and I found them gentle enough to use whenever I wanted some mild exfoliation without making my skin feel irritated.

I also really liked that they combined toning, hydration and gentle exfoliation in one step. They made my routine feel simple while still leaving my skin feeling fresh, smooth and more radiant afterwards.

However, there was one small thing that kept me from giving them a full 5/5.

The pads were meant to be placed on the cheeks or other areas that needed extra care and left on the skin for around 10–20 minutes. After that, the instructions recommended gently wiping the face with the pads and patting the remaining essence into the skin.

And honestly, I didn't always have that much time for my skincare routine. Sometimes I just wanted something quick that I could apply and move on with my day, so the extra waiting time wasn't always convenient for me.

Other than that, I really enjoyed using them. They left my skin feeling soft, hydrated and refreshed, and I loved how gentle the exfoliation felt.

🍃My Pimple Care Routine

Don't know what to use when you get a pimple? I got you. 🫧

Let's talk about those annoying little pimples that always seem to appear at the worst possible time. 🥲

First of all, I know this probably doesn't need to be said, but please don't squeeze or pop your pimples, especially when they are still deep, painful or irritated. From my experience, squeezing them too early can make the area much more swollen, painful and irritated, and sometimes it can even make the pimple take longer to heal.

That being said, I have a few little methods that I like to use when I get a particularly annoying pimple and want to help it calm down as quickly as possible.

🌿 COSRX Centella Blemish Cream

One of my go-to products is the COSRX Centella Blemish Cream.

It contains Centella Asiatica extract, which I personally really like when the area around a pimple feels sensitive, irritated or inflamed.

I always apply it on clean, freshly washed skin, directly onto the pimple. I like to use a generous amount and leave it on for as long as possible, especially overnight.

One little trick I like to do is apply a thicker layer before going to bed and then cover the area with a small plaster so the cream stays in place throughout the night. This way, I don't have to worry about the cream rubbing off while I sleep. 🫧

💧 Zinc Spray

Another thing I discovered fairly recently is zinc spray.

Since I live in Germany, I usually shop for these kinds of products at German drugstores, and zinc spray is something that I have found surprisingly useful for pimples.

I usually spray a little directly onto the affected area. I tend to use it in the morning and at night, only where I actually have a pimple.

🌿 SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Fresh Ampoule

Lately, I've also started incorporating the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Fresh Ampoule into this little routine.

Since it contains Centella, I like using it when my skin feels irritated or when I want to keep the surrounding area calm and comfortable.

So, when I have one of those particularly stubborn pimples, this is basically what my skincare routine looks like.

🧴 Mixa Panthenol Comfort

At night, I also like to use the Mixa Panthenol Comfort cream.

It contains 5% Panthenol, and I especially like it when my skin feels irritated or a little damaged from having a stubborn pimple.

I don't necessarily put it all over the pimple itself — I mainly use it around the area when my skin needs some extra soothing and comfort.

🩹 And what about pimple patches?

Once a pimple has come to a head and there is a visible whitehead, I personally prefer using a pimple patch rather than touching it with my fingers.

My favourites are the COSRX pimple patches, and I've also used the ones from Hero, which you can find at dm.

But there is also a much more affordable option that I discovered at German drugstores: Sterile Schutzwunden Pflaster.

They are obviously not marketed specifically as pimple patches, but I personally like using them as a more budget-friendly alternative when I don't have my usual pimple patches available.

I usually put one on at night and remove it in the morning. If needed, I can repeat this for another night.

For me, this is especially useful when the pimple has already developed a whitehead, because the patch can help absorb the fluid from the area without me constantly touching or picking at it.

🫧 My little pimple-care routine

So, when I have an annoying pimple, my routine is usually:

Morning:
Zinc spray → SKIN1004 Centella ampoule → the rest of my usual skincare

Night:
Zinc spray → SKIN1004 Centella ampoule → COSRX Centella Blemish Cream(always apply it on clean, freshly washed skin) → Mixa Panthenol Comfort

And if the pimple has developed a whitehead, I'll usually add a pimple patch instead of touching it.

This is obviously just what works for me and my skin, but these are the products and little tricks I personally reach for when I want to calm down an annoying pimple. 🫧💙
